Text Box: AASBO is involved in developing and improving its scope of services and support to school business leaders.  See what’s “in the works” below.

Text Box: AASBO is developing a mentoring plan to help new members “learn the ropes” as they “take out to sea” in the big wide ocean of school business management. For 2007-08 a new "support group" feature was implemented.

Text Box: On-going work with the Department of Education continues to provide classes through AASBO to satisfy Act 730 training requirements for school business officials.

Text Box: Both ArkASPA and School Plant Managers groups are hoping to work with AASBO to coordinate on training opportunities for school business leaders, administrators, and support personnel.

Text Box: The AASBO Board is currently working on an awards program, so that school business officials in our organization can be properly recognized for leadership, achievement, and success in our field.
