Text Box: Many people who participate in the association describe AASBO as a place to get knowledge and encouragement from other school business officials. Meeting with others in your professional area always leads to finding new ways, new ideas, about how to handle the issues that face us everyday.

Text Box: · Friendship—many lifelong friendships have developed among AASBO members, which have proven to be valuable and cherished connections. · Experience—someone somewhere has been where you are today. Sharing our experiences help us in many ways. · History—Why things “are the way they are” can often be explained by people who were there when “it happened.” · Encouragement—Our jobs get tough, and we get discouraged.  Others remind us to take heart and do the best job we can do. · Challenge—Another pair of eyes and ears helps us see things in a different light, and often challenge us to change our approach or our attitude.
